My Little Bird Learned to Fly

This afternoon I heard William stirring in his room (from his afternoon nap).  Then over the monitor I hear Gaga (his word for mom - not to be confused with Lady Gaga - this Gaga doesn't eat or wear meat) hug, hug, hug.  GAGA!...HUG! HUG! HUG! ......HUG! HUG! HUG!  Yep, William wanted to hug Gaga.

I think that it is the first time that he has requested a hug and a ginormous hug he did give  :-)   A quick snack and it was obvious that William wanted to go to the park.  So to the park we went!

Then it was time for the slide.....

Mom was nervous so she helped....

but then I looked down at William sitting at the bottom of the slide
and was reminded by his shirt that he is a Big Boy

and .......

So round and round he went.  He could have played until sunset.

Mom encouraged a celebratory walk for a popsicle.
William was game.
